MB Race – Megève

The MB Race makes its big return in the heart of the Mont-Blanc region for a weekend entirely dedicated to mountain biking and outdoor sports. Since its creation in 2010 on the trails of Megève and Combloux, the event has established itself as one of the must-attend events on the mountain MTB calendar.

Known for its routes that are as spectacular as they are demanding, the MB Race takes participants through the landscapes of Mont-Blanc and Val d’Arly. The various stages cross a dozen municipalities, including Megève, Combloux, Praz-sur-Arly, Flumet, La Giettaz, and Saint-Gervais, offering exceptional panoramas to the competitors.

The flagship event, the MB Ultra Somfy, is considered one of the most difficult mountain bike races in the world with its 140 kilometers and 7,000 meters of positive elevation to be covered in a single day. During the first edition, only one participant managed to cross the finish line, contributing to the legend of this extraordinary race.

Over the years, the MB Race has become much more than a competition. The event now brings together mountain bike enthusiasts, confirmed athletes, amateurs, and families around several formats suitable for all levels. Enduro, kids’ races, balance bikes, and activities allow everyone to live the experience according to their wishes.
