Mont-Blanc Marathon 2026 – Chamonix
From June 25 to 28, 2026, Chamonix will host a new edition of the Mont-Blanc Marathon, one of the most prestigious trail running events in the mountains. Each year, this event attracts several thousand runners eager to face the challenge of alpine trails against the stunning panoramas of the Mont-Blanc massif.

For two summer evenings, the Sommand Festival makes the mountains vibrate to the rhythm of live music. Held at the very beginning of summer, this friendly event brings together both local residents and visitors eager to enjoy the massif’s landscapes.
Whether you are a music enthusiast or simply looking for a nice evening outdoors, the festival welcomes all audiences in a warm and festive atmosphere.
On the program: six artists and groups take turns on stage during the two evenings, with concerts running from 6 p.m. until 1:30 a.m.

Saint John’s Festival – Cranves-Sales
The Saint John’s Festival returns to Cranves-Sales on June 27 and 28, 2026 for its 53rd edition. Every year, this emblematic event brings together residents, families, and visitors around a festive program combining music, entertainment, and popular traditions.
Throughout the weekend, the town will live to the rhythm of concerts, shows, and activities designed for all ages. The friendly atmosphere that is the hallmark of the Saint John’s Festival promises once again to transform the village center into a real place of celebration.
On Saturday evening, one of the most anticipated moments will undoubtedly be the traditional lantern parade. This year, three specially decorated floats will accompany the procession, while the Savoises’ries GugenMusic will bring their musical and festive touch in a quirky and energetic atmosphere. The evening will continue with a concert by the band L’Esprit Fût before a big popular dance open to all.
On Sunday, festivities will resume from the morning with activities, a musical aperitif on Torella Square, and a convivial meal organized by the Cranves-Sales hunting association.

Village Festival – Lornay

Adopt a Pass – Col de la Ramaz
Col de la Ramaz, a variant of the Route des Grandes Alpes and a legendary Tour de France pass, will be reserved for cyclists, hikers, roller skiers, and other non-motorized activities (road closure from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.).
- Departure from Mieussy: Information point and breakfast welcome, from 8:30 a.m., at the Technical Services building in Mieussy, on the Sommand road (between the roundabout and Saint-Gervais Church).
- Refreshment point at the place called “Chez Besson”.
- Arrival at Pierre Rouge parking lot in Sommand with a friendly atmosphere, refreshments, and our volunteers to welcome you!
