Mont-Blanc Marathon 2026 – Chamonix
From June 25 to 28, 2026, Chamonix will host a new edition of the Mont-Blanc Marathon, one of the most prestigious mountain trail running events. Sommand Festival – Mieussy
During two summer evenings, the Sommand Festival makes the mountains vibrate to the rhythm of live music. Held at the very beginning of summer, this friendly event brings together both local residents and visitors coming to enjoy the massif’s landscapes.
Whether you are passionate about music or just looking for a pleasant evening outdoors, the festival welcomes all audiences in a warm and festive atmosphere.
On the program: six artists and groups take turns on stage over the two evenings, with concerts running from 6pm until 1:30am.

Saint Jean Festival – Cranves-Sales
The Saint-Jean Festival returns to Cranves-Sales on June 27 and 28, 2026 for its 53rd edition. Every year, this emblematic event brings together residents, families, and visitors around a festive program blending music, activities, and popular traditions.
Throughout the weekend, the town will experience concerts, shows, and activities for all ages. The friendly atmosphere that makes Saint-Jean famous promises once again to transform the village center into a true place of celebration.
On Saturday evening, one of the most awaited moments will undoubtedly be the traditional lantern parade. This year, three specially decorated floats will accompany the procession, while the Savoises’ries GugenMusic will bring their musical and festive touch in a quirky, energetic atmosphere. The evening will continue with a concert by the band L’Esprit Fût before a big public dance open to all.
On Sunday, festivities will resume in the morning with activities, a musical aperitif on Torella square, and a convivial meal organized by the Cranves-Sales hunting association.

Adopt a Pass – Col de la Ramaz
The Col de la Ramaz, a variant of the Route des Grandes Alpes and a mythical stage of the Tour de France, will be reserved for cyclists, hikers, roller skiers, and other non-motorized activities (road closure from 9am to 11:45am).
- Departure from Mieussy: Information point and breakfast reception, from 8:30am, at the Mieussy Technical Services building, on Sommand road (between the roundabout and Saint-Gervais Church).
- Refreshments at the place called “Chez Besson”.
- Arrival at the Pierre Rouge parking lot in Sommand with a friendly atmosphere including refreshments and volunteers to welcome you!
