Thousands of mountain bikers, magnificent landscapes, legendary descents, and a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Alps… The Pass’Portes du Soleil will make their grand return from June 26 to 28, 2026 in the Portes du Soleil. An unmissable event for mountain biking and mountain enthusiasts.
The largest mountain biking event in the Alps
Every summer, the Pass’Portes du Soleil bring together riders from all over Europe to discover one of the largest mountain biking domains in the world, between Haute-Savoie and Switzerland.
The concept remains unique: to ride through the Portes du Soleil domain by mountain bike, e-MTB, or gravel bike along a huge route linking several iconic resorts like Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Châtel, Champéry, and Morgins.
The event combines sport, discovery, and local gastronomy thanks to numerous refreshment stations set up throughout the course.
89 kilometers of pure mountain biking in the heart of the Portes du Soleil
The main ride will offer a spectacular 89 km route with around 1000 meters of positive elevation gain and up to 6000 meters of descent. Participants will be able to enjoy many ski lifts specially opened for the occasion.
Departures will be possible from eight different resorts:
- Morzine
- Avoriaz
- Les Gets
- Châtel
- Montriond – Les Lindarets
- Champéry
- Morgins
- Les Crosets
The start will be free between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM depending on the chosen resort.
Routes for all levels
Over the editions, the Pass’Portes have greatly expanded their offer with several formats adapted to every profile.
e-MTB enthusiasts can participate in the ePass’Portes, while gravel fans will have their own mountain route. Kids courses and even a downhill-oriented Bikepark version will also be offered this year.
The event above all preserves its friendly and accessible spirit, far from pure competition, with a festive atmosphere and exceptional landscapes throughout the weekend.
A big mountain bike exhibition in Avoriaz
Alongside the rides, Avoriaz will host the grand Pass’Portes du Soleil exhibition from June 26 to 28, 2026.
The largest mountain bike, equipment, and accessory brands will present their latest products with the possibility to test many bikes directly on site. Access to the exhibition will be free for visitors.
