The Annecy International Lake Marathon returns for an epic 2026 edition on the weekend of April 18 and 19, offering one of Europe’s most spectacular race settings between crystalline waters and snowy peaks. Wine and Local Products Fair – Mieussy / Sommand
Gastronomy weekend! At the invitation of the Mieussy-Sommand alpine ski club and the competitors’ parents, producers meet for 2 days dedicated to gastronomy and local products.
You will be able to discover and taste wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, or for example the Loire Valley, enjoy a good confit or a slice of foie gras! Catering is available on site.

The Nature Film Festival 2026 settles in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 19 for a new edition under the sign of escape and environmental awareness.
For several days, the public will be able to discover a selection of captivating documentaries dedicated to wild landscapes, wildlife, and great expeditions around the world. Screenings, meetings with directors, and discussions about ecological issues will enrich the experience.

Défi Foly – La Clusaz
Since 1987, this spectacular and completely crazy event gathers one hundred and fifty participants and several thousand spectators in the magnificent setting of the Lac des Confins. The objective is to cross Lac des Confins.
If you don’t know it, you’re missing out! So there’s no way this edition will happen without you. Weather permitting, come and admire this superb original Waterslide competition (it is even said to be the largest in the world!), which draws people from all over France.

Calogero returns in a new, more intimate version of his journey, revisiting his most iconic songs. Face à la mer, En apesanteur, Yalla, Juste une chanson, C’est dit, On fait comme si, Aussi libre que moi…, so many hits, memorable songs, and many more, that have accompanied, guided, and inspired us for 25 years.
Calogero is going on tour again this year. After touring Zeniths, Arenas, and other festivals, he favors slightly more intimate stages to revisit his journey, his life, moments shared with the audience, with a selection of “chosen tracks” from his repertoire presented in unreleased versions. Sunday, April 19
Reyvroz Trail
On Sunday, April 19, the Reyvroz festival committee organizes the 4th edition of the Reyvroz Trail, a nature event held exclusively on trails, away from paved roads.
Several routes are offered to satisfy all profiles. Trail enthusiasts can compete in the Grand Reyv’, a demanding 18 km race with 1,250 meters of positive elevation gain, or choose the Petit Reyv’, 10 km long with 620 meters of elevation gain.
Walkers are not left out, with the Reyv’ Walk, an accessible route offering about 350 meters of elevation gain. Starts are scheduled from 9:30 am, with refreshment points along the routes to support participants.
Hauts-Forts Trophy – Avoriaz
On Sunday, April 19, the associations La Daille and Histoire et Patrimoine celebrate the 30th edition of the Hauts-Forts Trophy, a must-attend ski touring event marking the end of the winter season.
For the occasion, three routes are offered to suit all levels. The short course offers 450 meters of elevation gain, the intermediate route reaches 1,028 meters, while the elite route, redesigned this year, now features 1,824 meters of elevation gain.
Beyond the sporting performance, this anniversary edition has a special dimension as it pays tribute to Arthur Richard and Vincent Buet, to whom the trophy is dedicated.
Sallanches Carnival
This year, the Sallanches Carnival, a major event in the Mont-Blanc region, will return on Sunday, April 19, 2026. As every year, a warm, festive, and dynamic atmosphere will animate the streets of Sallanches during the parade.
On the program: about twenty associations, more than 1000 participants expected, decorated floats, music and dance, confetti, and good cheer!
Meet at Place du Pré de Foire, starting at 1:30 pm. Immerse yourself in the carnival atmosphere: discover the participants and their flamboyant floats, vibe to the rhythm of musical animations, and enjoy the face painting and glitter tattoos stands freely accessible for young and old until 3 pm.
The parade departs at 2:30 pm. Let yourself be carried away by the carnival’s energy! The parade will guide you from the docks to Place Charles-Albert, then to Rue des Trois-Lacs… ending at the Cayenne gymnasium, the final point of a joyful and colorful parade.
As soon as the parade arrives at the Cayenne gymnasium, the party continues! Enjoy a friendly moment with:
- a refreshment bar and treats to regain strength
- a party animated by a DJ
- Bubble Football to have fun with friends
- balloon sculpture for young and old.
And don’t forget to stop by the photobooth to immortalize your costume and capture the one you dared to become during the carnival!

TRAFFIC & PARKING
Attention, traffic difficulties (slowdowns and temporary vehicle stops) are expected in downtown Sallanches during the parade.
Parking is prohibited on the parade route on the day of the event; the organization invites the public to use surface parking lots (free on Sundays). Note that the Pré de Foire underground parking will be open Sunday, April 19, from 11 am to 6 pm (rates apply).
Raclette Tour 2026 with Chicandier – Saint Gingolph
The Raclette Tour 2026 stops in Saint Gingolph on April 19, 2026. Chicandier and the Festoyeurs come back to bring the heat with a giant raclette! A day of conviviality, unlimited raclette, and unforgettable memories.
