Are you spending your holidays in Haute Savoie? Take the opportunity to go see the unmissable 14th of July fireworks in Haute Savoie. As every year, Haute-Savoie lights up with a thousand lights each July 14th to celebrate the National Holiday: small mountain villages and lakeside towns compete in ingenuity to offer the public pyrotechnic shows and friendly activities.
Last minute: due to the current heat and vegetation drought, it is very likely that some 14th of July fireworks will be canceled. Please check with the local tourist offices.
14th July 2026 Fireworks in Haute-Savoie
Here is a non-exhaustive list (which will be updated as we discover more):
14th July Fireworks in Annecy, the Savoyard Prefecture
• Pyrotechnic show launched from the Pâquier, facing the Annecy lake, Tuesday, July 14th from 10 pm to 11 pm (free).
• 2026 Theme: not yet announced.
• Daytime activities: from 2 pm to 6 pm, workshops and shows for children in the Jardins de l’Europe; from 6 pm, dance and concert of the group on the Pâquier before the fireworks.
Fireworks in Évian-les-Bains, on the shores of Lake Geneva
• Fireworks Tuesday, July 14th at 10:30 pm on the lake, facing the Casino.
• Cruise option: boarding at 8:45 pm on the boat “La Savoie” (€40) to admire the show on the water, accompanied by a traditional lateen sail.
14th July Fireworks in Samoëns, mountain resort
- Fireworks Tuesday, July 14th at 10:30 pm
- Firemen’s parade, concert, DJ set and fireworks: the perfect recipe for a successful 14th of July
- Program: municipal band (8 pm), concert by the Alkabaya group (9 pm), fireworks (10:30 pm) followed by a DJ set.
Fireworks in Saint-Gingolph, on the Swiss border
• Meet on Monday, July 13th from 8:30 pm at the port for musical activities and refreshment bar.
• Fireworks launch at 10 pm, followed by the traditional firefighters’ ball lasting late into the night.
Beyond these major events, many other municipalities, Annemasse, Cluses, Bonneville, etc., also offer fireworks and popular dances, contributing to the festive atmosphere that fills the entire department every July 14th.

- Habère-Poche: Meeting at the Bois Noir parking lot from 6:30 pm for the opening of the refreshment bar, light catering with musical atmosphere. Fireworks at 10:30 pm.
- La Chapelle-d’Abondance: Let’s celebrate the National Holiday! Concert, then grand fireworks to light up the evening. Come share this moment of joy and gathering.
- La Clusaz: Come dance in the mountains! There is no National Holiday without the legendary firefighters’ ball! Tradition dictates that the ball takes place every year on July 13th, bringing together residents and holidaymakers in a popular, cheerful guinguette atmosphere! Fireworks at 10 pm

- Le Grand Bornand – Chinaillon: Free activities (inflatable structures, giant wooden games, etc.), concerts, followed by fireworks. Refreshments and light catering on site. Program:

- Margencel: Lampion parade at 10 pm, animated by La Brise du Léman, fireworks from 10:30 pm, followed by a dance party with a DJ. Refreshment bar and catering on site.
- Messery: from 7:30 pm, lampion parade, fireworks followed by a ball. Light catering all evening.
- Mieussy: As tradition dictates, young and old will parade by the light of lampions and to the sound of the Municipal Harmony before enjoying a concert, the traditional fireworks and the ball organized by the Festival Committee. Starting at 7 pm.
- Morillon: Meet from 9 pm by the blue lake to admire the fireworks and dance to a concert!
- Praz de Lys: The organizers invite you to meet at the center of the resort for the welcome drinks from 5:45 pm, followed by a show at 6:45 pm. The fireworks will be launched at nightfall.
- Sciez-sur-Léman: Meet from 8:30 pm at the port for a festive program: musical animation, fireworks at 10 pm followed by the firefighters’ ball. Refreshment bar and light catering from 3 pm.
- Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval: Meet from 8 pm at the train station square to parade with the Municipal Harmony to the Abbey Gardens where the traditional fireworks (10 pm) and the popular ball (10:30 pm) will take place!
- Thollon-les-Mémises: The commune of Thollon invites you to celebrate the National Holiday in a festive and family atmosphere! From 8:30 pm
Tuesday, July 14th:
- Bons-en-Chablais: Musical animations, merry-go-round, torchlight procession, followed by the traditional fireworks and ball. Catering on site. From 7 pm
- Châtel: To celebrate the national holiday, a grand pyrotechnic show is offered at the Vonnes lake at 10:15 pm, followed by a dance on the church square with the rock band “SUG4R”.
- Nernier: Meet at the port and in the municipal park above the Harbor Master’s office for a festive evening: music, bar and light catering on site followed by the traditional fireworks.
- Talloires: A magical fireworks will light up the bay at nightfall. On site, refreshment bar and snack run by the Talloires Nautical Club and musical entertainment.
- Taninges: Join us from 7 pm at the Château Park to enjoy a guinguette evening. A lampion parade will start late in the evening accompanied by a brass band to reach Mélan and close the evening with fireworks.
