For the weekend of April 11 and 12, 2026, Haute-Savoie offers some festivities, sporting events, and cultural activities. Here is a small selection of events and activities not to be missed :
All weekend
Les Folies Végétales – Thonon les bains
On Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2026, the Folies végétales make their grand return in front of the Château de Ripaille for a weekend dedicated to spring, nature, and sharing. This unmissable event invites young and old to dive into a rich, inspiring, and friendly plant-based universe.
At the heart of the event, a large market dedicated to plants brings together nurserymen, horticulturists, florists, and passionate artisans. The ideal opportunity to interact with professionals, discover unusual plants, and leave with ideas to beautify your garden, balcony, or interior.
Throughout the weekend, a wide variety of activities will animate the event. Educational farm, pony rides, zipline, face painting, and smoothie bike promise fun moments for the whole family. Wellness areas, a carousel, and a themed bookstore complete this warm atmosphere.

Visitors can also participate in numerous creative workshops: gardening, cuttings, pottery, woodworking, or terrarium making. Original initiations, such as plant mixology or discovering matcha, will enrich the experience.
In terms of atmosphere, concerts and shows will punctuate these two festive days. Finally, the Printemps des Coquelicots village will highlight local environmental initiatives, while the Marché Nature will offer local products, handcrafted creations, and eco-responsible alternatives.
