The artisanal market organized by La Poya de Mya, with over twenty years of existence, returns for a new friendly and festive edition. This year, about fifty local artisans and producers, chosen for the quality of their creations and know-how, will gather on Saturday, May 2nd from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny gymnasium. Admission will be free.
Throughout the two days, musical activities accessible to everyone will punctuate the event, featuring accordion, 80’s atmosphere, and other festive surprises. On the culinary side, Saturday will offer paninis, while Sunday will be marked by a large convivial tartiflette.
On Sunday, visitors will also be able to admire a beautiful exhibition of vintage vehicles: tractors, collectible cars, fire trucks, mopeds, and other period mechanics. A creative workshop will complete the program.

The May 1st Fair in Seyssel is an emblematic event, firmly rooted in local traditions. Among the oldest and most important events in the area, it attracts a large audience each year.
Livestock, the real soul of the fair
This has long been what makes Seyssel famous. While many fairs have turned into mainly commercial events, this one keeps a particularly lively livestock fair.
- Animal exhibition and sales: dairy and meat breed cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, and goats are presented throughout the day.
- Backyard poultry area: a large section is dedicated to poultry, with heritage hens, ducks, geese, rabbits, and ornamental birds. A place much appreciated by families and breeding enthusiasts alike.
