Samoëns, village resort

Located in the Giffre valley, the village of Samoëns is listed as a historic monument. It has preserved an intact traditional architecture and, in addition to being a beautiful village, it enjoys a natural setting worthy of the most beautiful landscapes of Haute-Savoie.

The ski slopes start just a few minutes from the town center and the heart of the slopes is connected by two gondola lifts. The ski area of Samoëns is linked to the Grand Massif (about 265 km of slopes), allowing varied skiing throughout the domain. However, the prices are quite high compared to some nearby resorts of the same level.

In my opinion, the major strengths of Samoëns are the entertainment, there is always something happening in this resort, and its authentic character. It is an ideal destination for a family ski holiday.
