Lac de Roy

Easily accessible on foot from the Col de la Ramaz, between Sommand and Praz de Lys, Lake Roy is a highly popular destination for hikers and nature lovers, as its access is easy, even with young children. The trail leading to the lake offers exceptional panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc range and the surrounding mountains. In summer, the lake is an ideal place to relax, picnic, or simply enjoy the calm and serenity of the area, while the surrounding mountains lend themselves to hiking and observing local wildlife, such as marmots or chamois.
