Today we take you hiking with the goal of a small summit named La Bourgeoise located at 1770 m altitude. You can enjoy a 360° viewpoint over the mountain ranges and an incredible view of Mont-Blanc. Are you coming with us? Let’s go then!
We chose a starting point allowing a hike without major difficulty for families. Another route is however possible if you want to do a longer hike.
To get there, in Samoëns take the direction of Col de Joux Plane and follow the road until the arrival at the lake. Besides, 1 km before the lake you can, if space permits, park in a small parking lot on your right and thus take the small trail directly. That’s where we settled.
We start our walk with appropriate equipment. Even if it is a simple hike, the equipment must always be rigorous (special hiking shoes, a bottle of water, some sweet food or even a picnic), a first aid kit, a rain jacket, walking poles and a small bag to take down the trash that we bring back home).
The trails are easy with one or two small climbs but nothing serious. First viewpoint after 5 minutes of walking. Nice view, right?
We continue our advance easily, this hike is really not complicated offering a superb and breathtaking view.
After 45 minutes of leisurely walking we arrive at the summit of La Bourgeoise with below the village of Samoëns.
Let’s not forget this breathtaking view of Mont-Blanc wow such calm and this magnificent nature… It’s magical!
We turn around and discover another viewpoint over the mountain ranges…
We had a picnic at the summit, calm, light breeze, exceptional view… What more could you ask for? To go down we took a small path that led us to a wonderful discovery: blueberries! A tip, you should always observe. Lovely discoveries await you!
