The Annecy Venetian Carnival returns for its 29th edition from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1, 2026. For three days, the « Venice of the Alps » truly lives up to its name, transforming into an open-air theater where elegance, silence, and mystery reign supreme.

On the program:

  • Friday, February 27, 2026 :
    • 5:30 pm – 8 pm : Evening stroll. The magic happens as soon as night falls. Masks wander under the arcades and lanterns of the Old Town. It’s the perfect time to capture shots with soft and mysterious atmospheres.
  • Saturday, February 28, 2026 :
    • 10 am – 6 pm : Free walk of the participants through the emblematic sites of Annecy: the canals, the bridges, the Jardins de l’Europe, and the lake shores. 
    • 2 pm : Parade in the Old Town for registered masks, on an iconic route. 
      Visitors will have the chance to admire the costumes, interact with the masqueraders, and capture spectacular photos. 
  • Sunday, March 1, 2026
    • 10 am – 5 pm : Final day of free mask wandering throughout the old town and its surroundings, offering a peaceful and refined atmosphere. 
      This is the ideal opportunity to prolong the magic, stroll through the medieval alleyways, and fully immerse yourself in the Venetian ambiance.

Bordeaux and New Aquitaine Wine Fair – Publier

Dive into the heart of the Publier Wine Fair: meet passionate independent winemakers, taste authentic wines, explore a great diversity of terroirs and share a convivial moment dedicated to pleasure and discovery.

73 winemakers from Bordeaux and New Aquitaine welcome you in Publier to introduce and offer tastings of their wines! 75 appellations representing all the diversity of the New Aquitaine region can be found at the fair. So many personalities, terroirs, diversity, and flavors to taste!

Find at the fair numerous stands featuring local products such as foie gras, olive oil, olives, tapenade, cheeses from the Pyrenees and Espelette pepper, snails, oysters, smoked fish, and fish rillettes…

6th edition of the Agy White Trail: Eleven kilometers at dusk are on the agenda for participants in this edition with an elevation gain of 320 meters. A night race on the beautiful snowy mantle of the Agy plateau. Friday, February 27, 2026 starting at 7 pm. Fee: 25 €

Ice Hockey: Chamonix-Mont-Blanc – Angers Dukes

Annecy Bike Club Bike Market – Annecy

CarnivalThorens-Glières

Prepare your best costumes and come party!
Starting at 1:30 pm, makeup time, then at 3 pm, the big parade in the village accompanied by the choir “La Voix en Chœur à Cœur”. The party continues with the traditional burning of Mr. Carnival.

A snack will be offered to the children, with cakes prepared by parents, and a crepe sale and refreshment stand will delight young and old. Finally, a sound system will make the children dance in the Associations Hall. A friendly, festive, and colorful moment to share with the family… we await you in large numbers!
