Venetian Carnival of Annecy 2026
The Venetian Carnival of Annecy returns for its 29th edition from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1, 2026. For three days, the “Venice of the Alps” finally lives up to its name, turning into an open-air theater where elegance, silence, and mystery reign supreme.
On the program:
- Friday, February 27, 2026:
- 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Evening stroll. The magic happens as night falls. The masks wander under the arcades and lanterns of the Old Town. It’s the ideal moment to capture photos with a soft and mysterious ambiance.
- Saturday, February 28, 2026:
- 10:00 am – 6:00 pm: Free roaming of participants through the iconic sites of Annecy: canals, bridges, the Gardens of Europe, and the lake shores.
- 2:00 pm: Parade in the Old Town for registered masks along an iconic route.
Visitors will have the chance to admire the costumes, interact with the masqueraders, and capture spectacular photos.

- 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: Last day of free strolling of masks throughout the old town and its surroundings, offering a peaceful and refined atmosphere.

Bordeaux and New Aquitaine Wine Fair – Publier
Dive into the heart of the Publier Wine Fair: meet passionate independent winemakers, taste authentic wines, explore a wide variety of terroirs, and share a friendly moment dedicated to pleasure and discovery.
73 winemakers from Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine welcome you in Publier to help you discover and taste their wines! 75 appellations representing the full diversity of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region can be found at the fair. So many personalities, terroirs, diversity, and flavors to savor!

Agy White Trail – Saint-Sigismond
6th edition of the Agy White Trail: Eleven kilometers at twilight are on the menu for participants of this edition with an elevation gain of 320 meters. A night race on the beautiful snowy mantle of the Agy plateau. Friday, February 27, 2026 starting at 7pm. Fee: 25 €

Bike Exchange of the Annecy Bike Club – Annecy
Attention cyclists, families, and bargain lovers: the traditional bike exchange organized by the Annecy Bike Club returns on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. An unmissable event to buy or sell bikes and accessories in a friendly and well-organized atmosphere.

Carnival – Thorens-Glières
Prepare your best costumes and come celebrate!
From 1:30 pm, makeup time, then at 3:00 pm, the big parade in the village accompanied by the choir “La Voix en Chœur à Cœur.” The celebration will continue with the traditional burning of Monsieur Carnival.
A snack will be offered to children, with cakes prepared by parents, and a crêpe sale and refreshment stand will delight young and old alike. To finish, a sound system will make the children dance in the Associations Hall. A friendly, festive, and colorful moment to share with family… we expect many of you!

Grand Carnival of Cruseilles
