The Kandahar Junior – Les Houches Saint Gervais Ski Area
International alpine ski race by team for the 13 and 14 years old category. Club challenge and mixed teams on the Pro Giant, Giant and Slalom events.
This event welcomes nearly 200 racers on the Houches ski area.
The Kandahar Junior is the first international race for the U14 category and often allows to spot the future champions of tomorrow!

Gourmet Nordic Walking – Sixt Fer à Cheval
Embark on a gourmet nordic walk in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval! Cross the superb Gorges des Tines, breathe the fresh air, and enjoy a gourmet break at the Tines farm. Nature, flavors and conviviality on the agenda!
Plan low-cut shoes and suitable equipment: warm clothes, glasses, gloves, backpack, and water bottle!

The White Ram Race – La Clusaz
Get ready to live an unforgettable experience on January 9 and 10 with the new edition of the White Ram in La Clusaz! Join more than 2,000 participants, headlamps on, to challenge the Ram on its snowy playground.
On January 9 and 10, 2026, La Clusaz will once again light up under headlamps for two evenings of sport and good humor in the heart of the Aravis. And this year, the program evolves!
Friday New Feature: a 10 km Trail to warm up your calves before the weekend.
Ultimate challenge: the Super Ram presented by Caisse d’Epargne Rhône-Alpes, the combo for the brave with the 10 km trail on Friday + the 14 km trail on Saturday!

7:15 PM – The Starred Track (Ski mountaineering) – 3 km / 456 m ascent
A cheerful night hike, to be shared with friends or family, to (re)discover La Clusaz under a starry sky.
7:45 PM – The 10 km Trail (new in 2026) – 560 m ascent
Discover a very sporty course with a first climb of 450 m positive elevation gain, followed by a hilly, descending profile course!
8:15 PM – The Pursuit Track (Ski mountaineering) – 2.1 km / 456 m ascent. The White Ram time format: fast, explosive and fun!

Saturday January 10
The Great Odyssey 2026 – Avoriaz
The Great Odyssey 2026, considered the most demanding sled dog race on the continent, asserts itself once again as one of the unmissable events of the Alpine winter. Starting Saturday January 10, the majestic landscapes of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will vibrate to the enthusiastic barks of more than 600 canine athletes, led by sixty-five mushers from all over Europe and the world.
This new edition will start at Avoriaz, a pedestrian emblematic resort where snowy streets offer an almost unreal atmosphere. Between the festive village and the enveloping scents of mulled wine and melting cheese, young and old will be immersed in the magic of the mountain. The prologue on Saturday evening will transform the resort into a living stage before the official departure to Montriond on Sunday morning.
