Taste the blueberries from our mountains

What a joy to be able to pick some blueberries during a hike… Isn’t that a little simple pleasure in life?

A small hand harvest of about 100 g, enough to prepare a nice little snack.

Blueberries must be rinsed several times due to the presence of animals that can carry certain diseases. We are going to give you our totally improvised recipe to try again because this cake-tart is really too good!

Let’s get started with the recipe:

  • For the ingredients you will need: 1 raspberry, blackberry, or blueberry yogurt—your choice (wash the yogurt pot which will be used as a measuring cup), 2 pots of wheat flour + 1/2 pot of sugar + 2 whole eggs + 30 g of unsalted butter + 5 cl of liquid cream + 1 packet of baking powder + 2 tablespoons of blackcurrant coulis + well-rinsed and drained blueberries + butter or baking paper for the mold (your choice).
  • Preheat the oven to 200°.
  • In a bowl, put the yogurt, flour, sugar, whole eggs, melted butter, and cream then whisk well.
  • Add the baking powder and mix again.
  • Prepare the tart pan and pour the batter.
  • Deposit 2 tablespoons of blackcurrant coulis and place the blueberries on top.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes.

Shall we eat? Here is a little snack that will surely please both children and adults!

Enjoy your meal!
