Ingredients (1 person):

  • 50 gr of Reblochon cut into slices
  • 2 thin slices of smoked bacon
  • 2 nice slices of slightly stale country bread.
  • 1 egg
  • Garlic, nutmeg
  • Savoie white wine

Recipe:

  • Rub the dish and the slices of bread with garlic.
  • Dip the slices of bread in the Savoie white wine. Place them in an oven-safe dish.
  • Cover the slices of bread with the slices of smoked bacon.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  • Cover with reblochon.
  • Bake in a very hot oven (250°C) for 20 minutes
  • At the end of cooking, place the cooked egg on the dish on top of the croutes and serve.
