Whether you are looking for a luxury hotel or a cozier structure resembling a family-run guesthouse, you will definitely find what you are looking for. But be careful, here too, as in any tourist area, you can come across unscrupulous hoteliers, although this is fortunately becoming increasingly rare.
Choose your hotel carefully based on your stay. Indeed, if you come to ski in our department, there is no point in choosing a hotel 15 km from the ski resort. Almost all of the Haute Savoie ski resorts offer a range of hotels of all categories, with all the facilities related to skiing. Do not hesitate to consult the ski resort fact sheets to find your hotel in Haute Savoie.
Similarly, for a stay in Haute Savoie in summer, we advise you to choose a hotel in the valley rather than in the resort. You can also opt for a hotel near Lake Annecy. Many hotel establishments are available, the Lake Annecy area is absolutely beautiful, and many activities are accessible nearby. The only downside is the overcrowding of Annecy and its lake, even if it has nothing to do with the French Riviera for example.
