Freestyle Ski / Snowboard Contest – Les Gets

This year the freestyle contest at the Snowpark returns to Les Gets on March 7 and 8, 2026. The Les Gets snowpark invites you to participate in a competition on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, on various park modules. Skiers and snowboarders, compete against other participants and try to win many prizes!

This competition is open to skiers and snowboarders of all levels! Throughout the day, enjoy the atmosphere provided by a speaker and a DJ mixing from a snowcat.

On-site catering with barbecue and refreshment stand offered by the Ellie Soutter foundation.

Once registered, you can pick up your Welcome Pack at The Hub store between 8:30 and 10:00 on Saturday, March 7 for adult participants and Sunday, March 8 for child participants. Access to the snowpark via the Chavannes gondola or the Chavannes chairlift, then the Mouille au Roi drag lift.

Number of entrants limited to 50.

Writing Festival: Between Pages and Feathers – Veyrier-du-Lac

Art & Deco Fair – Annecy

On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the Annecy Soroptimist International Club is organizing its traditional annual exhibition-sale.

This event will showcase the work and creativity of about fifty artists and craftswomen: painters, sculptors, ceramists, illustrators, jewelry creators, stylists, designers of accessories and decorative objects for the home. A diversity of talents gathered around the same solidarity commitment.

The proceeds will be entirely dedicated to fighting violence against women, as well as supporting the Abri des Hirond’Elles, an emergency shelter structure aimed at protecting women victims of violence in Annecy. Launched two years ago by the Annecy Soroptimist International Club, this project brings together many local actors, public and private, with the support of the City of Annecy and several committed partners.

The opening of this new reception center, specifically dedicated to women victims of sexist and sexual violence, is planned for early March. Psychosocial support and follow-up of the beneficiaries will be provided by the Ostara association, in close collaboration with the Annecy City Social Action Center (CCAS), the Medical-Social Pole (PMS), the 115 via the Integrated Reception and Orientation Service (SIAO), as well as police and gendarmerie services.

Hauts Forts Derby – Avoriaz

Take part in the Hauts Forts Derby. A magnificent route with over 1000 meters of elevation in the Combe des Crozats. This race is part of the Derby Trophy.

The race will take place in the Arare sector, the black runs below the Hauts Forts summit down to the bottom of Prodains. The start will be 50 meters above the Grande Combe chairlift (to be reached on foot), at the Col des Crozats.

Meythet Carnival: Journey to the Land of Books

Put on your best costume and come dressed as your favorite hero to celebrate a carnival full of colors and energy. Superheroes, princesses, adventurers or fantastic characters: let your imagination run wild and join the party.

The meeting point is at the Météore for the grand start of the parade. Together, young and old will parade to the sports plateau of Jacques Prévert Middle School in a festive, musical, and joyfully colorful atmosphere.

Upon arrival, the party continues with many activities for the whole family, a children’s ball to dance and have fun, as well as food stalls to share a tasty and friendly moment.

In case of rain, the parade will be canceled but the celebration will continue: relocation to Cairn, 6 rue de l’Aérodrome, to keep celebrating the carnival indoors.

Ramaz Crossing – Mieussy

The Ramaz Crossing, born on March 20, 1983, is a race connecting the Praz de Lys site and the Sommand site, crossing the Ramaz Pass twice. The race is included in the Haute-Savoie Nordic Challenge calendar.

On the program:

  • 30 Km (Listed on FFS calendar). Categories U20 to M12: born in 2006 and before. Route details.
  • 15 Km (Listed on FFS calendar). Categories U16 to M12: born in 2009 and before. Route details.
  • 7.5 Km: born in 2011 and before. Route details.
  • 3.5 Km Ramazette: Open to all. Route details.
  • 2 Km Rabotion for the youngest, born until 2018!
