The Vélo Vert Festival returns to Samoëns from June 6 to 8, 2025 for its 16th edition, promising a weekend full of discoveries and emotions for mountain bike enthusiasts. Located at the foot of the Grand Massif Express gondola, this unmissable event offers a total immersion in the world of mountain biking, combining gear tests, competitions, rides, and festive activities.
An international-scale MTB expo
With over 20,000 m² of exhibition space and the presence of 300 brands, the Vélo Vert Festival establishes itself as the largest outdoor MTB expo early in the season. It is the perfect opportunity for visitors to discover the latest innovations, interact with industry professionals, and test more than 2,000 bikes and accessories under real conditions on varied courses suited to all levels.
Events for all profiles
The festival offers about fifteen sporting events, ranging from enduro to cross-country, including electric MTB. Whether you are a seasoned competitor, a rider, or with family, you will find routes adapted to your wishes. Among the highlights, the Rando All Mountain offers an immersion in Alpine landscapes, while the Rando Découverte Cube combines culture and gastronomy. The youngest are not left out with family rides and fun events.
A festive and friendly atmosphere
Beyond the sporting activities, the Vélo Vert Festival is a true moment of sharing and conviviality. Free concerts are organized each evening on the Gros Tilleul square, with an eclectic program to satisfy all tastes. Animations, shows, and workshops are also offered throughout the weekend, creating a festive atmosphere in the heart of the Haut-Giffre valley.
Samoëns, an ideal playground for MTB
Nestled in the heart of Haute-Savoie, the village of Samoëns offers an exceptional setting for mountain biking. With about twenty marked routes, from flat paths along the Giffre to technical descents accessible from the gondola, everyone can find a route suited to their level. The collaboration with the neighboring town of Morillon further expands the possibilities for rides and hikes.
