The weekend of December 15 and 16, 2007, the Avoriaz ski resort offers you its Glisse Festival with numerous activities, equipment test trials, demos, concerts… all in a festive atmosphere to kick off this new season.
This Glisse Festival brings together all ski and snowboard brands to test the latest generation ski and snowboard equipment for free on slopes specially arranged for downhill and freestyle.
Program (from 9am to 5pm):
1. The Glisse Festival village (at the Avoriaz cable car square)
- Free trials of ski and snowboard equipment, the latest trends. 30 ski and snowboard brands will present all their new products
- Pop-rock concerts during the two days on the Avoriaz live stage
- Discovery of the domain’s new features and the new Grande Combe chairlift
- Exhibition “eco-rider attitude” by mountain riders
- Access boarding demo, the training board on trampoline
- Contests with many prizes to be won
- Slope animations
- Catering and bars on site
- You can attend the French Superpipe Cup
2. Ski clinics of the latest generation skis, offered by Avoriaz sports shops, in front of their stores
